The \u2018Virtual Graduation\u2019 of the 8th generation of KBS was held online via zoom, due to the pandemic of COVID-19 restrictions, and it was also aired on KBS YouTube.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">There were around 300 participants consisting of teachers and staff of KBS, students and parents of year 9 and 12, and some special guests. They were Mr. Suraji, the head of High School Education Board of Bantul, Mrs. Rindangsari Kurniawati, and the chairwoman of Kesatuan Bangsa Mandiri Foundation.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Singing the Indonesian anthem marked the opening of the graduation, then followed by words from Mr. Kursad Duvarci, the general manager of KBS. Mr. Duvarci congratulated the graduates warmly. He stated that he was so proud of the students of year 9 and 12 for all their hard work and achievements in their studies. He closed the brief speech by saying his gratitude that the students had finished high school very well.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">After some words from the manager, it was the announcement of students\u2019 achievements in national and international competitions.
