The Covid -19 pandemic, and having to fulfill the State Secretary recommendations in official letter number B-492 / M.Sesneg / Set / TU.00.04 / 07/2020, did not dampen the enthusiasm of Kesatuan Bangsa Bilingual Boarding School Yogyakarta students to hold a flag raising ceremony to commemorate the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, albeit with a different atmosphere.
This year, the flag ceremony was held online / virtually through the digital platform: Zoom with all Kesatuan Bangsa School students, and teachers in attendance. On this occasion, the flag ceremony was led by Mr. Hari Wibowo as the ceremony inspector. In his speech, he appealed to the Kesatuan Bangsa School Community to continually maintain and care about personal hygiene and a clean environment during the current Covid-19 epidemic.
We can’t forget to mention, the announcement of the 30 most outstanding junior and senior high school students of Kesatuan Bangsa, who competed and won awards at both National and International levels in the 2019-2020 academic year.
To close the wisdom-filled virtual ceremony, junior and senior students of Kesatuan Bangsa High School presented collaborative class videos of the national anthem: “17 Agustus 1945”. Thank you to everyone who made the 75th Independence day ceremony such a great event!
