Strengthening Teaching Skills Through Apple Education Training

Apple Education Community instructor motivated teachers as trainers in the main session

Kesatuan Bangsa has consistently supported the measured digitization of education. Through the end of the 2025–2026 academic year, the digitization of education was supported by the use of Chromebooks as the primary devices distributed to students. However, starting in the 2026–2027 academic year, the school has adopted a policy to transition to the use of iPads and the Apple Education ecosystem to support the digitization of education. Apple Education will be implemented for 7th and 10th graders starting this school year.

Apple Education training and certification were conducted for teachers and staff at Kesatuan Bangsa on July 29–30 to prepare teaching staff especially to utilize these devices and this new ecosystem. The training was engaging and interactive, led by four Apple Education instructors from Bes Project and Blibli. Teachers were taught everything from the basics of using an iPad and leveraging Apple’s educational ecosystem to troubleshooting issues that might arise while using Apple Education.

Pre-tests and post-tests are administered periodically to participants to maintain the quality of the training. Not all teachers are able to complete the material within the two-day training period, typically due to account issues. However, teachers are permitted to retake the certification exam within the next two weeks before classes begin. Mr. Hari Muryanto ensures that teachers assigned to use iPads and participate in Apple Education (7th and 10th-grade teachers) are certified. This also serves as a guarantee that Kesatuan Bangsa is committed to providing the best possible service to every student. []
